FAQ
How long will the project take?
The duration of the project largely depends on its size and complexity. A renovation might take a few months, while a large-scale build could take over a year.
Will you be on-site every day?
Even on days when I’m not physically on-site, there are qualified foreman present to manage the day-to-day operations and ensure the project is running smoothly. I am on-site for all critical phases of the project such as foundation work, framing, electrical and plumbing installations, and final inspections. My presence during these stages ensures that everything meets our high standards.
How will you protect my property during construction, if I am remaining onsite?
Inside your home, we use protective coverings like heavy-duty drop cloths, plastic sheeting, and floor protection boards. These items shield your flooring, walls, and other surfaces from dust, debris, and potential damage.
What warranties or guarantees do you offer?
We offer a 10-year Master Builder guarantee.
What does it mean that Windsor is an Accredited User of Auckland Council’s Artisan Inspection technology?
Windsor Construction offers a higher standard of quality assurance for your home. How do you manage subcontractors?
We carefully select subcontractors based on their qualifications, experience, and reputation. We work with trusted professionals who have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work. We create a project schedule that integrates the work of all subcontractors. This helps us coordinate with them to ensure that each phase of the project flows smoothly and that deadlines are met.
How will you communicate progress?
I stay in constant communication with the on-site team, and I provide you with regular updates on progress, challenges, and next steps. You can always reach out to me directly with any concerns or questions.
What consents are required, and will you handle them?
Depending on the scale of your project you may need Resource Consent or Building Consent. We can help guide you through the process and also complete your Code of Compliance Certificate at the end of your project.
